Tasting Note: This 1er Cru lies directly below the Grand Cru Corton-Bressandes and shares much of the grandeur of that wine. Deep set dark fruits like black cherry and plum overlaid with sandalwood, violet and a touch of earth. The palate is rich and long, crying out for food at this early stage. Drink 4-12 years from vintage. Food Pairing: A perfect match for roast game birds or simply grilled lamb with vegetables.
