Tasting Note: This tiny 1er Cru (the smallest in Chambolle) is sandwiched between Les Fuées (above) and Les Gruenchers (below). Approx. 40% whole-bunch. Red cherry and raspberry aromas are framed with sandalwood, violet and orange blossom. The palate is taut and muscular showing its proximity to Bonnes-Mares. Dark cherry and raspberry flavours are suffused with florals and spices. The finish is long and linear. Drink 7 years from vintage and then over 15+ years. Food Pairing: Pair with the best mountain lamb chops grilled over wood coals.
