Tasting Note: From a wonderful old vine parcel (65+ years) situated between the parcels of Angerville and de Montille, the Taillepieds has a lifted nose of ripe black cherry, plums, chocolate, violets and spices. The palate is rich and velvety with immense fruit. The tannins are ripe and fleshy leading to a long finish. Drink 2023-2060. Food Pairing: Such special wine deserves a special dish. Roast goose or côte de boeuf would do nicely!
