Pernand-Vergelesses “Les Vignes Blanches” AOC

Tasting Note: From a tiny 0.09 ha parcel of vines planted in 1956-1957. This cool west facing site really excels in warm years, and it seems they are coming much more frequently these days! Pristine, clearly defined red fruits, mingle with subtle oak and bright florals. Extremely energetic and drinkable. The tannins are chalky and fresh leading to a long juicy finish. Drink now and over the next 8 years. Food Pairing: Great with roast chicken, pork, veal or mushroom dishes.
