Tasting Note: From vines planted in 1955. Raised in 20% new oak, the Fichots explodes from the glass with precise red cherry, raspberry, florals and chalk dust. The palate, like all of Jean-Baptiste’s wines, has incredible detail, energy and drinkability. The finish is long finishing with lifted cherry aromatics. Drinking well now, but will continue to improve over the next 12 years. Food Pairing: Simply grilled mountain lamb or porcini mushrooms will pair perfectly with this elegant Pinot Noir .
