Tasting Note: The most famous 1er Cru in all Burgundy. Clear Grand Cru quality. The nose explodes from the glass with intricate florals, red and black cherry and fine spices. Extremely sensual as only Amoureuses can be. The palate is equally impressive with layer upon layer of silky red and black fruits with tremendous inner-mouth perfume. The finish is seemingly endless. Drink starting after 8-10 years and then over the following 35-40 years. Food Pairing: Pair with the best mountain lamb chops grilled over wood coals.
