The 1er Crus in the Premeaux section are light and elegant. South of the village famous 1er Crus like Vaucrains and Les Saint-Georges give powerful wines with black fruits, game and earth. Towards Vosne-Romanée great 1er Crus like Boudots give wines close in style to Vosne 1er crus – spicy, exotic and dark fruited.
