Blagny 1er Cru

Blagny is an unusual appellation. It is essentially the high slopes above and between Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. On the Meursault side is where the Blagny 1er Crus are found. The whites (often labelled Meursault-Blagny) are fresh and tense and the reds are full of fresh red cherry fruit and great freshness. Especially good in warmer years.
