A large part of the village Auxey-Duresses AOC is the continuation of the Meursault vineyards (Vireuils, Luchets, Meix Chavaux) as they pass into the valley containing the village of Auxey-Duresses. Mostly exposed to the north they show character similar to Meursault with a little less body. In warm years they can be much fresher than Meursault whites which is a definite bonus.
