Tasting Note: Next to Grand Cru Bâtard-Montrachet. Powerful aromas of white orchard fruit, acacia blossom and chalk dust with a line of fine popcorn-like reduction. The palate is deep set with palate staining white fruits and a fine thread of mineral acidity. The finish is long and saline. Drink 5-15 years from vintage. Food Pairing: Perfect with lobster, langoustine, veal or poultry. For a change, try with foie gras or very mild blue cheese.
