Tasting Note: From extremely old parcels planted in 1901 & 1925, the Clos des Charmots displays a very classic Pommard nose of fresh earth, red cherry, raspberry, citrus peel and spice. The palate is deep set with the old vine fruits clearly on show. The tannins are fine and drive the long finish. Drink 2022-2035. Food Pairing: Such special wine deserves a special dish. Roast goose or côte de boeuf would do nicely!
