Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru

The 1er Crus of Auxey are a continuation of the Monthélie vineyards mostly exposed to the south or southeast. Historically they were a little too cool to properly ripen the tannins. With climate change they start to be a great source of wines similar to Volnay with charming red fruits and silky textures.
