Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes AOC

Tasting Note: Typical Charmes aromas of hazelnut, almond, white pear, nectarine and white flowers. Fine reduction reminiscent of popcorn keeps the nose tight. With time butter and honey emerge. The palate is full-bodied and rich though with great underlying tension. A wine with the potential to impove over a long time. Prime time is around 5-20 years from vintage. Food Pairing:  Ideal with supreme white fish like turbot, also with langoustine, lobtser or white meats with cream sauce.
