Tasting Note: The greatest of all the Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Crus, the ‘Grandes Ruchottes’ offers noble aromas of flowers, dried fruits and honey. Demanding at least 4-5 years, it slowly reaches its peak around 10-12 years of age where it perfectly expresses the elegance of this great site. Food Pairing: Like the ‘Vide-Bourse’ this wine is a perfect match for lobster or langoustine – just don’t drink it too young.
